Gestur Eruyt

Once a wood-warder of Golmore Jungle, he had to abandon his now former home due to reasons he's rather secretive about. He now wanders without a proper objective, or so it would seem; discovering the world and the customs of the people outside of the forest for the first time, after more than two and a half centuries of being in the company of little more than trees and wild animals.

who is gestur?

A 162 years old viera from the Rava tribe, taller than the average male at 185cm -- or 6'1". Having lived as a wood-warder for more than two hundred years, his physique is visibly well trained. Don't let the lack of bulky muscles and his agility deceive you, anyway, for he's also stronger than he seems. He takes pride in his white hair and long ears, and takes really good care of them. This doesn't mean that he's narcissistic, though -- he's more than used to getting dirty, and looking good in the woods wasn't exactly a necessity anyway. He mainly cares about his hair because it reminds him of his family; more specifically, of his mother and sister, whom he's fairly sure he's never going to see again.Tendentially quiet and reserved, Gestur visibly has a bit of a hard time interacting with other people, especially when they try to make him nervous or embarrass him on purpose, but he's making progress. He alternates moments where he looks like an introverted, to others where he seems not to have a filter due to how direct he can be. He's still working on finding a good balance.Women, especially female viera, make him nervous quite easily, even though he really tries not to show it. It is what one should come to expect after so many years spent by following viera customs. Living in solitude and only seeing females upon visiting the village, once every four years, mainly to contribute to the tribe's survival and population growth.Asking him about his life in the jungle is perfectly fine, but any question about the reasons why he left will always get a response similar to a "because I had to", on which he will refuse to elaborate. He chose to keep his forest name, since he still feels really attached to his roots, even though viera who abandon their village usually pick a city name to go by, to sever their link to the tribe from which they're banished.

just a little introduction

I go by Olick on the internet, so feel free to use that nickname if you'd like to refer to me! I'm a 28 years old guy from Italy, my main hobbies are playing videogames, reading and, of course, writing.I'm a generally nice and chill person, very friendly. You could literally just send me a meme via DMs or tag me in some random, funny shitpost and you would've found yourself a new friend. We can have a chat, plot or just game together, if you'd like. My DMs are always open for my mutuals! My Discord is oudenaut, while on XIV I have recently returned on Primal, Hyperion. The character's name is... well, the character's name -- Gestur Eruyt.
I suck at the game, you've been warned. :)

DOs and DON'Ts

I want to keep this section as short as possibly, so I'm going straight to the point.I'm down for writing literally anything, as long as we DISCUSS potential triggering or dark contents. It's more of a way to make sure we don't end up writing something we don't really want to see -- but not everything has to be planned, of course. If, during an interaction or storyline, something happens and it makes you uncomfortable or uneasy, we can always talk about it and find a way around it, or remove the element that causes the aforementioned feelings. The only things that I expect you to keep in mind when we write are the following:1. Patience is key. I am generally slow with starters and responses.2. Spamming is a no-no. I am okay with being kindly bumped or reminded about responses or starters I still have to work on, but don't become obnoxious.3. No godmodding. Do not write for my character - his actions are mine to decide.4. I will be multishipping. If you're not a fan of that, I understand -- but don't bother me because of it. Both chemistry based and pre-established ships are welcome!5. While smut is perfectly fine, and often very welcome, make sure to warn me if you have specific kinks or interests. I don't have many limits, to be honest, but I'd like them to be respected. They are to be discussed privately, if needed.6. Tell me if the response or starter didn't satisfy you, I'll be more than happy to work on it again. Don't simply end up vanishing or pretending everything is okay if it isn't, I wouldn't want it to end up becoming a bigger issue later on.7. If an interaction or storyline has become boring or something like that, just let me know! We could always drop it and start something new, if you'd like. And that's a wrap! Thanks for getting through all that, if you did -- I hope we'll get along and have a chance to write soon! ♥
